Before joining Starr-Mathews Financial, LLC, Mr. Covington managed the financial services department of Greater Rome Bank located in Rome, Georgia.

Mr. Covington has 23 plus years of investment services experience, plus another 15 years as a corporate attorney. Primarily, he assists clients with their retirement planning process, helping them determine and put together the necessary and appropriate investment mix to address their current and future financial needs.

A third generation native of Rome, Georgia, Mr. Covington received his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Georgia School of Law in 1965, and he holds the Series 7, 65 and 24 securities registrations and life, long-term care, fixed and variable insurance licenses.

With his diverse background, Mr. Covington brings broad-based understanding and experience to serve the needs of his clients and their financial decision process.
